Equity Residential Breaks Ground
This morning Equity Residential broke ground on 340 Fremont, a 40-story, $160M tower on Rincon Hill. The high-rise will have 348 rental units when done. The SoMa site will also have a club house, expansive outdoor courtyards and kitchens, a lounge and demonstration kitchen, a dog spa, and bike facilities with a repair room.
Here's a handy lineup: Handel Architects partner Glenn Rescalvo, Equity Residential EVP Mark Tennison, Mayor Edwin Lee, Suffolk Construction Western Region prez Andy Ball, Equity first VP of development Jim Kelly, Equity VP of development for Bay Area Peter Solar, and Equity first VP of investments John Hyjer.
