Columbia Property Trust Buildings Gain Wired Certification
Nearly all of Columbia Property Trust’s 12.3M SF of office space, including five buildings in the San Francisco Bay Area, have now received Wired Certification from WiredScore, which analyzes internet connectivity, infrastructure and technology in commercial buildings. The buildings at 221 Main St and 650 California in San Francisco and buildings at 1900, 1950 and 2000 University Ave in Palo Alto, above, received certification.
Fifteen buildings in Columbia’s portfolio received Silver Wired Certification, including 650 California St and all three buildings off University Avenue, six garnered higher Gold Certification, including 221 Main St, above, and two have Platinum Certification, the highest possible rating for best-in-class internet infrastructure.
“Connectivity speed and access are critical business operations, and our participating in the WiredScore program is another way we can ensure our tenants have the level of service and infrastructure they expect from our best-in-class, Class-A office buildings in leading US markets," says Columbia Property Trust SVP of portfolio management Kevin Hoover.
