Seattle No. 5 City Among Foreign Investors

Overseas investors are still keen on US commercial real estate, and Seattle's moved up in the rankings, according to the 24th annual survey of members of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate.
Among US cities of interest to foreign investors, Seattle's now No. 5, tied with Boston, and up from No. 8 last year. On the whole, notes the survey, 85% of respondents say their positive perspective on the viability of the US market is unchanged from 2015, though 35% say it's very difficult to find opportunities (that comes from being the most popular country at the dance, it seems).
Multifamily is still a darling among investors, but industrial tied for No. 1 this year. [AFIRE]
