The investor is looking for something retail in the $20M to $25M range, and location is everything. (Most people who come to US to shop are looking for retail, but usually that's insidethe store.) "In front they want Bellevue, but if it's a good deal I'm sure I can turn their ear," Sophia says. One of the beauties of dealing with overseas investors: it pays them to invest. "Our local investors are more picky, but with the overseas investors, if they leave it in the bank, they will get 2%," Sophia explains. "So they are very open." |
