| Plans are going ahead for a 196-unit apartment complex and retail space at Juanita Village, complementing the still shiny-and-new planned Juanita Bay community on 11 acres of (almost) beachfront property. John Brownlee and Tom Wilson of Texas-based HFF arranged for a $31.8M loan for the project for M-M Properties and BayNorth Capital, which will build two apartment buildings with 8,700 SF of ground-floor retail and south-facing views of Juanita Beach. Is Juanita the new Kirkland? A few more projects like this, and it could be. |
