Meet Muriel

| In the U-District for an event we'll be writing more about later this week, we happened upon Schuster Group project Muriel's Landing, now going up on 52nd and University. Like Schuster's other Seattle projects, this 97-unit apartment complex is named after developer CEO Mark Schuster's great-aunt Muriel Mosler Brill. (Figuring out a mother's day gift sure is easier if you're a developer... ) Muriel Landing is located right next to the (we suspect also family-named) Fu building, whose all capital letters on its red awning has led generations of college coeds to mispronounce it the "F-U building." Muriel's Landing is scheduled for delivery later this year. |
