STRESSED IN SEATTLE?

A study released earlier this week from Sperling's BestPlaces ranks Seattle as the ninth most stressful city in the nation, right after Riverside, Calif. and Dallas. Criteria included unemployment, suicide rate, and (probably the real killer for us) commute time. Fortunately it's not all heart attacks and divorce, though—over at SeattlePI.com, Amy Rolph has listed 40 reasons why Seattle is awesome, from food to biking to the fact that Seattleites can always escape to Vancouver or Portland if things get a bit too intense. So sit back and relax, Seattle—at least you're not Tampa, which according to Sperling is the most stressed city in America. |
