Legacy Partners scored two big deals this past month, selling Tacoma's The Fairways apartments for $52.5M to Fairfield Residential. The 545-unit complex is Fairfield's seventh apartment complex in the greater Seattle area. And Legacy sold the Riverpark Apartments in Redmond for $95.3M the week before. |
CONSTRUCTION & DEVELOPMENT |
Resmark Apartment Living and Greystar are contributing to Redmond's multifamily boom with Elan Town Center, a 134-unit project that also includes 7,700 SF of restaurant and retail space. Apartments will average 872 SF and feature nine-foot ceilings. Another big selling point: The building will have a yoga studio(exercise rooms are so pass). Elan is scheduled for delivery in '13. |

Madison Development Group is in the permitting phase for a new mixed-use development on Capitol Hill at Melrose Avenue and East Pine Street. Plans are for a seven-story, 98k SF apartment project with 16k SF of retail. Kirkland-based Madison is responsible for a number of similar projects, including Element 42 and Fauntleroy Place, both in West Seattle. |
