Speaking of prime but not necessarily urban real estate, we recently met Sam Kyle and Beverly Keffer of Kyle Development, who are involved in office properties in Issaquah. Sam, who's been building his portfolio in that city for 30 years, says that long-term he's optimistic for the city, which lies at the base of some of the best hiking and is an easy drive from Seattle: "When the rates get too high [in the city] they move outwards," he says. It's certainly not all doom and gloom: Issaquah boasts a brand new Swedish Hospital complex and Bellevue College is planning an Issaquah Highlands campus. If you're looking for about 20k SF with a fully developed server room, Sam's your man. |
