Bellevue's 100-Year Land Use Plan
Bellevue's attracted real estate investors like steel to a magnet (there might be a song in that), but does it have what it takes to maintain that dynamic? Come to our Bellevue on the Rise event—aka The Future of Washington's Next Big City—at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue on April 23 and find out.
Among our speakers will be Wallace Properties president and COO Kevin Wallace, who tells us that by any measure, Bellevue is a top-tier location for commercial real estate investment. "The city has a AAA credit rating, maintains its roads and utilities in pristine condition, holds the lowest property tax rate of any major city in the state, and lives up to its nickname City in a Park," he says.
Kevin adds that the city plans ahead—really far ahead, since there's a land-use plan that enables a 100-year pipeline of high-density, sustainable, transit-oriented development on over 1,500 acres of land. "Where we go from here is up to the investors, businesses and workforce that make Bellevue their home," he says. Hear from Kevin and the rest of our star-studded cast at Bisnow's Bellevue on the Rise event, April 23 at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue, starting at 7:30am. Sign up here.
