2+U Signs Restaurants To Its 24K SF Urban Village
Cafe Ladro has announced plans to lease 1K SF in 2+U’s Urban Village beginning in early 2020.
The Urban Village, which consists of 24K SF of covered space below the lifted 686K SF, Class-A office tower in downtown Seattle, is set to open to the public later this month.
Tavolàta, an Ethan Stowell restaurant, will occupy 2,232 SF in the Urban Village. The 24K SF Urban Village is in the process of leasing space to other restaurants and retailers.
2+U is located at the corner of Second Avenue and University Street. It is currently 60% leased with tenants that include Indeed.com, which will lease 200K SF; Dropbox Inc., which will occupy 121K SF; and Spaces, a flexible workspace firm that will lease 91K SF.
The Urban Village includes 16K SF of restaurant and retail space, as well as 1,100 SF of arts and cultural space named The Studio. The outdoor areas will include local art and event programming, a 220-foot “GeoWall” made from local soil and “The Lookout,” which features views of Puget Sound.
