Coworking App Deskpass Launches In Seattle
Deskpass, an app that allows users to explore different coworking spaces, is launching its services in Seattle. Deskpass allows its members access to 14 coworking locations and 10 meeting spaces in Seattle, including The Riveter, Office Nomads and OnePiece Work Seattle. The app gives users the ability to filter choices by location, parking and other amenities.
"Seattle is at the forefront of the remote working trend, with Amazon and Microsoft among the largest companies offering remote-friendly jobs,” Deskpass co-founder and CEO Sam Rosen told Bisnow. “And while some people are happy to work at home, many prefer a more active, collegial environment.”
Deskpass works with a wide variety of providers, from local independent coworking spaces all the way up to multicity networks, so members can find the space that best fits their needs and their personality, Rosen said.
New subscribers can sign up for a free mini plan that allows them to work at four locations per month. After the initial trial period, the rates go to $49 per month. There are more plans available that allow for more visits per month. A full-time, 20-day-per-month plan costs $199.
Deskpass, based in Chicago, was launched in 2015 and has services in 10 cities with more coming online soon.
