Intracorp Breaks Ground On 2 Multifamily Developments
Intracorp launched two multifamily developments in the Puget Sound that will deliver a total of 129 housing units to market.
Kelkari, in Issaquah, will feature 71 three- and four-bedroom townhomes that range from 1,800 to 2,400 SF. The homes will include attached two-car garages and multiple decks with mountain views. The homes, designed by Freiheit Architects and Baylis Architects, will cost between $700K and $900K. They are set to deliver in early 2022.
This development has mountain lodge-style architecture that blends in with the wooded surroundings. The site has a clubhouse, an outdoor rock amphitheater and direct access to trail connections.
Intracorp is also working a project on Beacon Hill that includes 58 new residences, two- and three-bedroom row homes, paired homes, townhomes and single-family detached homes. These homes will also include a garage and most will have a private yard. They are set to run from $600K to $800K. The units are expected to start delivering in late spring 2020.
The Beacon Hill site was designed by Johnston Architects and will have mountain, lake and territorial views. The site is one-quarter of a mile from the Rainier Beach Link Light Rail Station.
Intracorp — which has delivered more than 40 housing communities and 7,000 units to the Seattle market — has recently been active in the Seattle multifamily market with several projects. Its 321-unit Little Saigon-area apartment building will include both affordable housing and market-rate units. It also developed Avid Townhomes in Bellevue and it reported that units, which started at $829K SF, sold quickly. Its Ravenna88 townhouse project in North Seattle delivered in January.
