MainStreet Property Group recently opened The Bond, a 195K SF multifamily building across the street from Marymoor Park in Redmond.

Located at 6180 East Lake Sammamish Parkway NE, the 139-unit project has a western exposure and views of the park and Lake Sammamish. The units feature stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and full-size washer/dryers.

The development includes some affordable housing units that are restricted to people earning 50% to 80% of the area's median income. The lobby features an indoor tree, a touch-screen coffee table and a coffee bar, which is connected to The Solarium, a second-floor lounge with shuffleboard, kitchens and a podcast room.

The building also has a fitness room and a VIP-style lounge on the sixth floor that features James Bond memorabilia, as well as a poker area. There is an on-site dog park, as well as the Solace Ground Path, which uses grass, sand, wood, pine needles and rocks to connect trail users to the Earth’s “healing energy."

MainStreet has been active on the Eastside. It recently broke ground on Flyway, a five-story, multi-use development in Kenmore as part of the city’s downtown renewal initiative. The developer also opened LINQ Lofts + Flats in Kenmore, which was named NAIOP Washington State’s Multi-Family Residential Development of the Year in 2018.
