Two Seattle apartment buildings were among the top 50 most expensive multifamily transactions in the country in 2017, according to a report by CommercialCafé.

Coming in at No. 15, Tower12 in Seattle was purchased by Weidner Investment Services for $225M from Continental Properties. It was the country’s third-largest single-asset transaction.

The Seattle area's 282-unit Radius apartment building was purchased by Kennedy Wilson + LeFrak for $141M. The seller was Greystar.

Meanwhile, Greystar acquired Shorewood Heights in Mercer Island for $210M in October from Olympic Investors.

The nation’s largest single-building multifamily deal of the year was in California. Blackstone’s LivCor paid $231M to buy the 615-unit Summer House in Alameda, California, from Kennedy Wilson.
