43-8, Need We Say More?
Here are some Hawks fans at the Vulcan Real Estate HQ, watching the big game. (We wondered if this pic was after a Hawks score, then we realized that was pretty much anytime during the game.) Vulcan has another reason to celebrate: It wrapped up a year during which it broke ground on nearly 1M SF and signed leases for the same amount of square footage in new and renewing leases.
Another Seattle commercial real estate pro shows team colors for the Hawks: JLL managing director Charlie Malley. He’s actually a 49ers fan most of the time, but he tells us that Seattle-based fans like him got revved up to pull for the Hawks.
McKinstry’s Seattle and Denver offices had a Super Bowl competition called “Cheers for Charity” and together raised $11,665 in less than two weeks for local charities, with the Seattle office bringing in $8,440 and the Denver office raising $3,215. Since Denver raised more than $2,000, Seattle execs agreed to wear Broncos jerseys at work for a day and fly a Broncos flag—that was part of the deal. Snapped: prez Doug Moore and CEO Dean Allen. In Denver, the operations manager will wear a Seahawks jersey, put Seahawks magnets on his truck, and fly a 12 flag.
