$300M Nvidia Campus Is Revived
Two years after announcing plans for a 500k SF futuristic campus on 36 acres in Santa Clara, Nvidia is ready to get the ground moving. Demo will soon start at Walsh Avenue and San Tomas Expressway on the building, which is shaped to look like a polygon (the building block of computer graphics). Crews will start early site work in the next month or so, reports the Silicon Valley Business Journal. The project was first unveiled in 2013, and the out-of-this-world look was in line with others coming from Apple, Samsung Semiconductor and Facebook. The $300M project will have huge 250k SF floor plates—an unfathomable size for cities like S.F. GC Devcon has a big resume builder nearby, Levi's Stadium. [SVBJ]
