Bank Of America Expands Lease In San Jose Building
Bank of America will occupy most of Grosvenor Americas’ 560 South Winchester building in San Jose. The financial institution is consolidating its local offices into the Class-A building. The new lease, which totals over 60K SF, will begin Nov. 1. The company will occupy the first, third, fifth and sixth floors. The building is fully leased to Bank of America/Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Trend Micro Inc. and Vectra Networks.
Bank of America has been consolidating offices around the country for the past two years.
“San Jose continues to be an important growth market for us,” Bank of America Silicon Valley Market President Raquel González said. “We are excited to expand our tenancy at 560 South Winchester and co-locate our business teams to better collaborate and serve clients, while ensuring responsible growth for our company.”
Cushman & Wakefield Executive Managing Director Erik Hallgrimson and Vice Chairman Steve Horton brokered the Bank of America lease on behalf of Grosvenor.
Grosvenor purchased the 99K SF building in 2013. The office has direct access to Interstate 280 and is near Santana Row and close to Interstate 880 and Highway 17.
