Many Bay Area tech companies have found ways for their employees to catch the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (which opened last night, or today if you didn't make that midnight show), from renting out entire theaters to providing the requisite lightsabers.
Apple bought up tickets in Cupertino, offering them for free to employees wanting to go to one of the screenings today, according to the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Mountain View's LinkedIn has organized a private screening for its employees, plus food, drink, lightsabers and Stormtrooper 3D glasses for those who make it to the movie early. [SVBJ]
