  Katherine Lynch is a Principal with TCC’s Atlanta office. In this role, Katherine is responsible for sourcing, shaping and executing TCC’s office and life sciences development and investment in Atlanta, Tennessee, and Alabama. Katherine oversees the firm’s development projects from start to finish, beginning with site acquisition, underwriting, design supervision and capitalization through marketing and leasing, overall asset management and disposition. Projects that Katherine has worked on include Twelve24, a speculative 345,000-square-foot Class AA Office Tower in Dunwoody, GA that was completed in March 2020. Insight Global leased 99% of the project, which was sold in June 2021. Katherine is the TCC lead for Science Square, a $1B mixed-use life sciences district that will include multiple phases of purpose-built R&D labs ground-leased from Georgia Tech. A 17-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, Katherine previously served as First Vice President for CBRE Atlanta, specializing in the marketing and leasing of office buildings for institutional owners. During her tenure, she completed more than 475 transactions in excess of five million square feet, representing $875 million in total lease volume. In 2009, Lynch was the recipient of the William H. McAdam Memorial Award for being the nation’s highest producing first-year salesperson throughout the Company. Prior to CBRE, she served as Development Associate at Pope & Land Enterprises where she worked on a variety of development activities.

  Maria Thacker Goethe is the founding CEO of The Center for Global Health Innovation (CGHI), an Atlanta-based organization formed in 2020 from the merger of Georgia’s major global health and life sciences organizations. CGHI was established as an impartial, leading organizer of the global health, life sciences and health technology community which embraces cross-sector collaboration and speaks with a collective voice. Maria is also the president and CEO of Georgia Bio, a role she has held since Feb. 2019, after spending more than 12 years actively building the organization into one of the state’s top bioscience and MedTech associations. Under her leadership, the Georgia Global Health Alliance, BioEd Institute and Global Health Crisis Coordination Center were established and now reside within CGHI. Prior to Georgia Bio, Maria participated in a fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention/Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry in environmental investigations, working closely with the National Center of Environmental Health in Chemical Demilitarization. Maria serves on the board of the CJD Foundation, Southeast Life Sciences Association, and KSU Research Foundation, and as vice chair for the Council of State Bioscience Associations. Most recently, she was named to Georgia Trend magazine’s 2021 “100 Most Influential Georgians” list. Additionally, Maria has volunteered for 11 years with the Junior League of Atlanta. Maria holds a master’s in public health from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Sweet Briar College. She lives in Atlanta with her husband, Patrick, and daughter Cecilia.

  Christopher Rampton is a Project Director for JE Dunn Construction. After graduating from The Georgia Institute of Technology, he has almost 20 years of experience working in the construction industry. Christopher has spent his career focused on large, complex Healthcare, Mission Critical, and Life Sciences projects, with his most recent focus leading JE Dunn’s construction team for the Emory University Health Sciences Research Building II. He is a member of the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories and is equally passionate about minimizing our carbon footprint and environmental impact. Christopher and his wife live in East Atlanta, where he is an avid cyclist and volunteer, giving time through the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition (Propel ATL) and the City of Atlanta Parks & Recreation.

  Edward Lai

  Edward “Eddie” Lai is the Senior Manager of Life Sciences & Digital Health Ecosystem Expansion for the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC). He directs MAC's recruitment and growth strategies for the Life Science (Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices/Instruments, animal/agriculture bioscience), Digital Health (Health IT, mobile health, wearable devices, telehealth and telemedicine, and personalized medicine), and Age Tech ecosystems. Prior to joining the Chamber, he came to Atlanta from Boston for a role at metro Atlanta-based Emory Healthcare as an Operations & Strategy Administrative Fellow working on hospital and system-wide initiatives including COVID-19 Supply Chain procurement and outpatient COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Operation. He subsequently joined the Emory Healthcare Innovation Hub as its first Administrator, engaging with companies external to Emory as well as with internal stakeholders to operationalize projects within the health system. Eddie earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a minor in Health Services Administration from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. After graduation, he served in AmeriCorps in a high school in the West Philadelphia Promise Zone. He then earned his Master of Public Health with a concentration in Healthcare Management and a certificate in Pharmaceutical Development, Delivery, and Access from the Boston University School of Public Health.   With more than 15 years of experience, Ms. Keishia Niblack joined Piedmont Healthcare, Inc. as the Director of Corporate Leasing in October 2018. Ms. Niblack is responsible for the managing and directing Piedmont’s 3.8M SF lease portfolio working with both internal and external end users to achieve a myriad of real estate goals for Piedmont Healthcare, Inc. Ms. Niblack serves as an advisor to the Piedmont Healthcare Corporate senior management on real estate matters and works with executives to develop and implement real estate strategies consistent with business requirements and operational needs. Prior to this role Ms. Niblack worked with Children's Health of Atlanta for 6.5 Years where she was quickly promoted to Real Estate Manager. Ms. Niblack's additional experiences include working with land acquisitions, residential developments, residential sales, and developing the operations and organizational structure for real estate sales. Ms. Niblack is a 2018 graduate of the Real Estate Associate Program (REAP) and a 2020 graduate of Urban Land Institute's Center for Leadership Class.   Angela Hsu

  Angela Hsu is a partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. She represents a range of public and private companies both domestic and international as a trusted advisor. In addition to acting as outside general counsel, she handles a broad range of transactional matters, including commercial real estate, joint ventures and acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to joining Bryan Cave, she was Vice President of the legal department at Duke Realty Corporation, a publicly traded REIT for 16 years where she managed the legal group that supported all of the capital transactions, investment sales and was responsible for the team that handles corporate governance and general contracts matters for Duke Realty. She holds a juris doctor degree from Emory University School of Law, and has an undergraduate degree in Architecture and Environmental Design from University of California at Berkeley with honors. While at Emory University, Angela founded the Asian Law Students Association. Over the course of her professional career, she has been deeply invested in the Atlanta Region and the Asian American community, serving on the board of the Regional Leadership Foundation and as President of the Georgia Chapter of the Organization of Chinese Americans from 1997 to 1999. She was the Chairman of the Board of the Georgia Commission on Equal Opportunity, an agency of the State of Georgia from 2015 to 2021 and was President of the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association from 2020 to 2021. Angela is also on the Board of Trustees for Westminster Schools, Atlanta and the Advisory Board of the Emory University School of Law. She is also a member of the Atlanta Chapter of the International Women’s Forum. In early 2023, Angela joined the Georgia Bar’s Commission on Continuing Legal Competency. Since the Atlanta mass shooting of six Asian women in 2021, Angela has been a leading advocate and voice in the fight against violence directed at the Asian American community, co-founding the AAPI Crime Victims & Education Fund. She is featured for her AAPI crime victim work in the Portrait Project 2.0, a study of Asian Americans in the legal profession.--
