  Mark Holt serves as Executive Director of Technical Engineering at Gilead Sciences. In this role he leads the organization responsible for the capital infrastructure of the company’s global headquarters in Foster City, CA. His current portfolio work includes expanding Gilead’s headquarters to feature a new flexible, digitally enabled Research Center and transitioning the company’s biologics manufacturing to Foster City. Mark also leads the Facilities and Engineering organization at Kite Pharma, Gilead’s cell therapy business, and is accountable for global functions that include capital execution, real estate, technical services, engineering, EH&S, and business resilience.    Prior to joining Gilead, Mark held engineering roles of increasing responsibility at leading healthcare companies, including Medtronic and Amgen. Mark earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Chico State University and an MBA from California State University, Northridge.

  Sara Andersen

  Sara Andersen is Director of Real Estate Management, part of Workplace Effectiveness at Genentech, the organization responsible for ensuring the work environments support desired business outcomes for the business units at Genentech’s South San Francisco site and beyond. Sara’s role at Genentech allows her to exercise her passion for providing healthy, sustainable, financially performing environments which allow people to do their best work. As a Real Estate and Financial services professional with more than 25 years of experience, she has focused on setting overall business strategy for her group, running business units, building relationships and developing cross functional teams. Her engagement with Genentech began in 2012, through design (Perkins + Will) and program management (CBRE), which resulted in Genentech’s most successful building to date. The building is a success because of the emphasis on the social engagement of the employees, user friendly technology that allows a “work anywhere” philosophy, and a healthy and sustainable work environment. Her ongoing work focuses on using workplace to support business initiatives, measuring success in faster time to market vs. square foot per person.. Prior to joining Genentech as an employee, she led the CBRE Occupier Strategy team in San Francisco, translating client business objectives into real estate strategy, informing lease sizes, terms and execution. She led vision sessions with senior executives to align goals across business units, spearheaded the development of solution scenarios with client and brokerage partners and ensured successful project delivery through strategic planning, design process, budget and schedule management, and the integration of IT, HR and communications. Prior to CBRE, Sara held positions as a Principal, Director of West Coast Interiors for Perkins + Will; Managing Director (Atlas Capital Strategies); and ran her own project management practice with clients such as SAP Labs and TD Waterhouse. Sara is educated and licensed as an architect, her education includes a Masters in Architecture from Washington University with an undergraduate degree from Lehigh University in Architecture and Computer Science. She was honored as a Northern California Real Estate Woman of Influence by the San Francisco Business Times and has spoken at both CoreNet and NeoCon.

  Ryan serves as Senior Vice President in TCC’s Northern California office. In this role, Ryan will be responsible for the sourcing and execution of development opportunities in the office and life science product sectors throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Ryan previously served as Principal at Four Corners Properties, where he was responsible for sourcing and managing new investments including over 500,000 square feet of life science development. Prior to Four Corners Properties, he assisted in managing and investing over $2.5 billion of real estate assets for Stanford Management Company.   Sabrina Hyman

  Sabrina Hyman is a commercial real estate professional with a rich background in project management and environmental expertise, working as a project manager at Project Management Advisors, Inc. (PMA) since 2021. Within PMA, Sabrina has been instrumental in the entitlement and planning phases of projects by utilizing urban planning acumen and jurisdictional expertise. With a keen focus on California housing policies and local regulatory environments, Sabrina consistently delivers exceptional results for clients. Notably, she plays a significant role in the construction of multi-family housing developments and large-scale life science campus projects. In addition, she leads PMA’s Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) Program through implementation of a company-wide training program and office sustainability initiatives. Before joining PMA, Sabrina served as a California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) consultant. Over her 4 years at Dudek, she served as a Deputy Project Manager on more than 30 environmental impact documents, assessing the environmental impacts of land development projects in various Southern California cities. Holding a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara and Master of Urban Planning Degree from the University of Southern California, Sabrina is passionate about the built environment and sustainability, demonstrating a profound commitment to creating projects that are not only impactful but also environmentally responsible. Beyond the professional realm, Sabrina enjoys scuba diving off the California coast near Catalina Island. Additionally, she is a dedicated half-marathon enthusiast, having completed ten races; and in her leisure time, Sabrina finds creative satisfaction in scrapbooking.   Cyndi has been successfully helping her clients accomplish their interior workspace goals for over 25 years.
