CBRE, Avison To Clash At ACC

With the Leafs in Washington Feb. 5, the Air Canada Centre seemed like a logical venue for settling a grudge match two-and-half months in the making. You may recall, the repeat Oxford Cup A champs from CBRE hadn't even raised the trophy before accepting Avison Young B champs' challenge. Opening face off will be 2:30pm. Will the losers be on the hook for the city's most expensive ice time? Though the ACC seats 18,800 for hockey, only 200 spectators will be allowed. And there's no word on whether MLSE will offer to sell beer for the usual $13.
