Creativity Drives Portside Industrial Deal
A standard lease deal won't get you a REX Award nom.There needs to be creativity involved, often under tight timelines. Thats how the 220K SF Portside lease went down, says Oxford Properties Group industrial director Alistair Pickering. (Cushman & Wakefield was also involved.) The lease has been nominated in the Industrial Lease of the Year category for the April 3 awards gala. Alistair explains that anexistingtenant was leaving the space, allowing Portside--a BC-based logisitics company---the ability to stage its occupancy as it grew its business.
