Justin Trudeau is Canada’s prime minister-designate. He celebrated his victory at Montreal’s Queen Elizabeth Hotel, making him the latest in a long string of big names to grace Fairmont Hotels and Resorts' 1,039-room hotel, the largest in Quebec. Other famous guests include namesake Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen Mother, Prince Charles, Fidel Castro and Nelson Mandela. But the hotel is perhaps best known for hosting John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s 1969 Bed-In. “Give Peace a Chance” was recorded in Room 1742.
