Cadillac, Canderel Launch Phase 2 of Montreal Canadiens Condo
With hockey season set to start, Cadillac Fairview, Canderel and Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ just launched Tour des Canadiens 2, whose first phase (above) was the fastest-selling project in Montreal history. The 37-storey Phase 2 tower, featuring “slender, skewed and tapered forms inspired by icicles,” offers covered entrance to Bell Centre, and priority access for residents to Habs tickets, practices and team store discounts. Part of Cadillac Fairview’s extensive Quad Windsor, the tower will have a podium integrating the heritage facade of 1162 Saint-Antoine St W and be connected to the metro and RESO underground network.
Quad Windsor district, a $2B mixed-use project developed around historic Windsor Station, will ultimately comprise nearly 5M SF of office, residential and retail space. It also includes Tour Deloitte (above), the city's first privately owned and financed commercial office tower built in more than 20 years. The 500k SF building, also Montreal’s first LEED Platinum (CS) office tower, was inaugurated last week by Cadillac Fairview. The building boasts a 32-foot-high lobby facing historic Windsor Court, and an outdoor courtyard with (bien sûr!) a skating rink.
