Ivanhoé And Claridge JV To Invest $100M In Montreal Projects
Ivanhoé Cambridge and Claridge—a Bronfman family-owned firm—plan to invest $100M alongside private property developers in residential, mixed-use, light industrial and low-density office projects in the Montreal area. A typical investment will range between $5M and $15M per project, say the companies, also partners in the Au Sommet Place Ville Marie dining-entertainment project (above). Claridge president Pierre Boivin says the new JV will “facilitate the realization of innovative projects" that grow Montreal’s economy and support local developers.
