Pan Am Games Athletes’ Village Complete
With five months to go before the Pan Am Games, officials gathered last Friday to mark the on-time completion of the athletes’ village. The village, built by Dundee Kilmer Developments, is in the Canary District, part of Waterfront Toronto’s vast redevelopment master plan. Following the games the athletes’ village buildings will be converted into residential stock, with an extended Front Street serving as a pedestrian-friendly promenade with 60k SF of shops, services and eateries at the base of the buildings.
