Historic Dominion Public Building Bought By Larco Investments
Vancouver-based Larco Investments has bought Toronto’s Dominion Public Building at 1 Front St. W for $275.1M. Tenanted by Canada Revenue Agency, among other groups, the five-storey building had been declared surplus by the federal government, according to the Toronto Star. The historic Beaux-Arts structure’s heritage designation means its interior and exterior elements will be protected. The Dominion Public Building was built in several phases between 1929 and 1935. Larco recently launched the expansion of Ottawa's Fairmont Château Laurier.
