SNC-Lavalin Sells Real Estate Management Business To Brookfield

SNC-Lavalin has sold its Canadian real estate facilities management business to Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions for $45M. (SNC's revamped home at Slate Office REIT's Sheridan Park campus is rendered above.) The deal includes facilities management, property management, realty management and project management, activities identified as non-core by SNC, which is focusing on transportation, social infrastructure, P3s, industrial, power, defence and logistics, and oil and gas. Transfer of employees to Brookfield GIS will occur during a transition period that’s expected to be completed by year’s end.
