UNIQLO Set To Launch British Columbia Location

Japanese casual apparel retailer UNIQLO will launch its first store in British Columbia this fall, its third Canadian location, a year after its Canadian debut in Toronto (at CF Toronto Eaton Centre and Yorkdale Shopping Centre).
The store, with a total sales floor of 20,630 SF, will open at Burnaby’s Metropolis at Metrotown, BC’s biggest mall and the third-largest in Canada.
UNIQLO Canada chief operating officer Yasuhiro Hayashi said the retailer’s BC debut represents a major milestone and signals the importance of Canada as a focus for the company globally.
UNIQLO has more than 1,800 stores worldwide.
