China's Wang Jianlin, the world's wealthiest real estate mogul, has mad skills—and we're not just talking about business skills.
The real estate billionaire—best known in the US as the owner of movie-theater chain AMC Entertainment—showed off his vocal chops at his company’s Chinese New Year gala.
Wang, 61, took the stage with a group of dancers and serenaded his employees with a triumphant rendition of Fake Monk by Beijing-based rock singer Cui Jian.
Wang serves as the chairman of entertainment and real estate conglomerate Dalian Wanda Group, an active investor in US real estate. Wang himself has a net worth of $23.5B, making him the wealthiest person in China.
Earlier this month, Wanda inked a $3.5B deal to buy US film studio Legendary Entertainment. The acquisition comes three years after Wang shelled out $2.6B to buy AMC, along with its 346 theaters across North America.
