Eagle Creek Set to Fly

Construction has begun on Omicron's $100M Eagle Creek Village mixed-use project, located on five separate legal parcels of land next to Victoria General Hospital, one of the most significant developments the town has ever had. Phase 1 will comprise 112k SF of retail and 56k SF of office space, with rental apartments above the retail. (Just don't fall asleep in the make up aisle.) Construction will be complete in 2014. Major confirmed tenants include Shoppers Drug Mart, Tim Hortons, Quality Foods, and Cascadia Liquor. Phase 2 is residential. Part of the approval allows for 3.9 acres of forested land to be donated to the town with a $1M amenity contribution. Cushman & Wakefield is handling office leasing (preferably services that complement the hospital).
