Seymour Gets Cash Injection
Over $112k from the federal government's Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund has been allocated to the Seymour River Hatchery and Education Centre. North Vancouver MP and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance Andrew Saxton (lower right) was among those making the announcement yesterday. The money will be used for facility improvements as well as upgrades to the salmon ponds. (Fish love value-add.) The government has allocated $150M over two years for projects like this across Canada.
