Cadillac Fairview's Waterfront Tower Redesign Coming in 2016
Cadillac Fairview last week wrapped up public consultations for the controversial waterfront office building it’s proposing for 555 Cordova St and plans to present a revised vision for the tower, shaped by feedback, in the new year. Last week’s session focused on street-level concerns, with the developer outlining how the tower will be set back to “liberate” neighbouring heritage buildings (The Station, which CF owns, and The Landing), “increase articulation and porosity” at plaza level (seen in an earlier rendering above), and incorporate terracing to create view opportunities and reduce “apparent building massing.”
