ULI's First-Ever Meet Up Outside US
And it's happening at the Convention Centre in Vancouver. ULI's debut non-US spring conference will lure 3,000 real estate professionals from around the world, like CBRE’s John O’Bryan and Ross Moore, above. The event started yesterday and runs through tomorrow.
We're at the event as we type, and a lot of the talk is revolving around Vancouver itself, as many of the attendees were in the city for the first time. Mayor Gregor Robertson welcomed everyone, and Bentall's Remco Daal led a discussion about capital flows. Tomorrow’s keynote features CNN’s Fareed Zakaria talking about what the world economy means for real estate.
