Indigo Spirit Coming to Granville Street This Fall
Indigo Books & Music will be opening in November a new Indigo Spirit store downtown, a 5k SF space at 810-816 Granville St that the retailer says will “set a new standard” for its small-format visual store design. The Spirit store will expand on products found in Indigo's smaller locations, with books at the core. Earlier this year Indigo closed its 53k SF Chapters store at 788 Robson St (above) due to an “untenable” rent hike. Indigo CEO Heather Reisman said her company is “thrilled to be back in downtown Vancouver,” where it continues to look for a large-format store location.
