Mary-Claire Burick is a dynamic and strategic leader whose focus is on building engagement and leading change. As President of the Rosslyn Business Improvement District, she is responsible for leading daily operations and creating programs that define, enhance and continually improve Rosslyn for those who work, live, visit and do business there. Her leadership in the area of business engagement has been recognized within the region, and has focused on building relationships and retaining businesses in Rosslyn, as well as working with the real estate community, property owners and Arlington County to welcome new businesses to Rosslyn. Previously, Mary-Claire was President of MC Strategy, a consulting firm helping leaders build healthy and effective organizations. Prior, she was Vice President of Operations for Allbritton Communications, managing ABC-7, NewsChannel 8 and POLITICO. Earlier in her career, she helped launch the Fox NewsChannel, where she served as Operations Manager. She was named Washington Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business and has a certificate in Organizational Consulting and Change Leadership from Georgetown University and a BA in Communications from University of Delaware.

Tina Leone, a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant, has more than 20 years of consulting, financial and management experience. She became the Chief Executive Officer of the Ballston BID in December 2011. The BID works to create a Ballston that people love through vibrant and dynamic branding and placemaking, elevated neighborhood experience, and relationship-building programs. Prior to joining the BBID, she was the President/CEO of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce beginning in July 2009. Within five months of coming on board, Ms. Leone streamlined the Chamber’s operations, re-established the Chamber as the voice for business in Alexandria and increased membership by 15%, from 630 to 715 members. The Chamber had reached over 800 members as she departed. Her former positions included that of the President/CEO/CFO of The Lorton Arts Foundation where she provided leadership for the start- up 501(c)3 organization and transformed that vision into a vibrant cultural community that today hosts more than 100 artists at the Workhouse Arts Center at Lorton. The Workhouse is a 55-acre, 30 building-site formerly known as the former Lorton Correctional Complex. She guided the Workhouse proposal through Fairfax County’s adaptive reuse plan approval process and managed the Workhouse site rezoning, construction, and lease negotiations with Fairfax County, as well as completed a $26,200,000 public bond financing. She secured over $5,000,000 of donations and $6,000,000 of state historic tax credits. The Workhouse opened to the public in September 2008 and welcomed over 200,000 visitors within its first year. Prior to joining The Lorton Arts Foundation, Ms. Leone held accounting and business consulting positions in various organizations. In these positions, she was responsible for audit, review, and compilation engagements, establishing and directing corporate financial policies, and overseeing human resource functions. She was the acting CFO for American View Networks, a national radio program syndication company and the Director of Finance for PromiseMark, Inc., a developer of Internet and computer related protection services. Ms. Leone also audited non-profit corporations and employee benefit plans with Keller Bruner & Company (now RSM) as well as performed international operational audits for the Department of Defense, Inspector General’s Office. She has created business plans, performed due diligence reviews, and assisted in obtaining funding of over $15,000,000. Ms. Leone is a member the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of CPAs. She has an MS in Management Information Systems from George Washington University and a BS in Accounting from the University of Scranton.

As the Chairman of the Shooshan Company, John Shooshan is responsible for directing and implementing the strategic objectives and goals of the company. His active and dedicated leadership is vital in generating business opportunities and fostering community relationships. John's experience and in-depth knowledge provide guidance for the shared goals of the Shooshan Company team and its partners. John continually strives to assure that the company presents a strong, positive image to all relevant stakeholders. In 2o08, the Shooshan Company completed the Liberty Center North project, a 1 million square foot, mixed-use project consisting of office, residential and retail space. Today, Mr. Shooshan is leading the Shooshan Company in the completion of the Liberty Center development; Liberty Center South, a 5.35 acre mixed-use project, consists of about 1.2 million SF of density among a significant two acre open park space in the heart of Ballston. In addition, under John's leadership the Shooshan Company recently was reasonable for the redevelopment of Marymount University's Ballston mixed-use campus and has a pipeline of new projects planned; including The Clarendon West project, located in the heart of Clarendon. John founded the Shooshan Company in 1986. In 2007, he helped form Kodiak Realty Services, LW by combining the property management and engineering services of the Shooshan Company and Fred Schnider Investment Group to create a property management firm to focus on the developed properties. Previously, he served as Mid-Atlantic Regional Partner for Faison & Associates, Inc., Vice President of Development for Cadillac Fairview Urban Development, Inc. John began his career at the Oliver Carr Company, which became Carr America, where he was the Director of Marketing and Leasing. In these capacities, he gained extensive experience in development, financing, property management and acquisitions. By far, John's proudest achievement is his family. He and his wife Marcia have been happily married for 44 years and have two children and three grandchildren. Their daughter Kelly serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Shooshan Company, and son Kevin is the Managing Director of Kodiak Realty Services and also serves as the Director of Marketing and leasing for The Shooshan Company. Both attended Georgetown University and have followed in their parent's footsteps in multiple ways, including their dedication to the family business, community involvement and charity work. Doug, along with colleague Brian Katz, founded AREP in 2003 to acquire, develop and invest in primarily office assets in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Since he co-founded AREP, Doug, together with Brian Katz, has acquired more than $3.5 billion in real estate transactions representing approximately 16 million square feet in six States and the District of Columbia. Doug has a diverse and extensive background spanning a multitude of areas including development, acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing, totaling more than 40 million square feet of transactions throughout his career. Prior to founding AREP, Doug spent 22 years with Cushman & Wakefield’s (C&W), co-founding its Washington DC operation in 1981 and serving in various senior roles as an Executive Vice President, growing the C&W regional operation to $50M in annual revenues. While at C&W, he was consistently recognized as one of the company’s top brokers in Nation, was a member of the National Board of Advisors and served on the National Arbitration Committee for the Eastern United States. Prior to 1981, Doug worked for a Netherlands funded DC based development firm, Savage Fogarty, on their development of office and mixed-use properties. Andy VanHorn has over 24 years of experience in all aspects of real estate investment, development, and innovation—and oversees all aspects of the company’s strategy and its growth, alongside the Dweck family. This includes highly innovative financing and capitalization efforts and creation of strategic partnerships that drive growth opportunities. Dweck Properties owns 7,000 multifamily residences plus mixed-use retail in key submarkets in the Washington Metro area. They are one of the largest apartment owners in National Landing, home to Amazon’s HQ2. Since joining Dweck, Andy has established a 1,500 unit development pipeline on existing Dweck properties and a Construction Management company which has completed $100MM in work in its initial three year of operations. Andy also recently co-founded Two Rivers Investments and raised Confluence Fund I, a general partners investment fund established to purchase value-add multi-family properties in the larger DC metro region. Prior to joining Dweck Properties, Andy was an Executive Vice President responsible for entitlement, community and governmental activities associated with JBG SMITH’s portfolio in National Landing, including the pursuit and ultimate planning efforts related to Amazon’s HQ and the associated infrastructure improvements. He led coordination of Virginia state investments and priorities in National Landing, and oversaw formation of the Virginia Tech partnership and the Innovation District around the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus. He also led a development team that worked on over 11MM square feet of multifamily, retail and office projects in Arlington County, the City of Alexandria, Washington, DC and Bethesda, MD. The project activities included land acquisition, entitlement efforts, design, permitting, negotiating construction contracts, leasing, financing and joint venturing. He is very active on public and private committees and boards, and serves as Executive Committee Member of the National Landing BID Board, and is a Board Member of the Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing. He also serves on the GMU Center for Real Estate Entrepreneurship Board, the Virginia and National Board for NAIOP and is a member of the Investments Management Forum with NAIOP. Prior to his role with JBG SMITH, Andy was a Principal with The JBG Companies. The JBG Companies merged with Vornado DC, and formed JBG Smith, the largest publicly traded REIT in the Washington Metro region. Andy also worked in real estate private equity with Buvermo Properties, and for Charles E. Smith and Clark Construction. B.S. in Civil Engineering, Lehigh University; M.B.A., McDonough School of Business - Georgetown University.

Evan Pritchard is a member of Venable's Real Estate practice, where he focuses on securing zoning and land use approvals for developers and landowners in jurisdictions throughout Northern Virginia, including Arlington, Fairfax County, the City of Fairfax, and the City of Falls Church, among others. He advises clients on state and federal legislation and regulations affecting real estate development and important changes to local jurisdictions' comprehensive plans and zoning ordinances. His clients include mixed-use project developers, large corporate clients as well as some work for nonprofits and churches. Prior to joining Venable, Mr. Pritchard spent nearly a decade at a Northern Virginia land use and development firm. An experienced litigator, he worked with the Environment & Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, serving as lead counsel on 25 civil cases in federal court. SIGNIFICANT MATTERS Secured unanimous approval for Rosslyn Plaza Phased Development Site Plan in Arlington. Secured three site plan amendments for Ballston Quarter in Arlington. Secured multiple special exceptions in Fairfax. Secured multiple mixed-use, transit-oriented site plan approvals in Arlington. Represented landowners in multiple rezonings to the Planned Tysons Corner (PTC) Urban District. Represented multiple landowners and applicants before the Fairfax City Council and Board of Architectural Review (BAR) on various projects.

Mr. Oliver T. Carr, III has been the President and Chief Executive Officer at Carr Properties Holdings LP since 2004. Mr. Carr co-founded Carr Capital Corporation in 1994 and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer until 2005. He was responsible for managing Carr Capital, and led managing major acquisitions and financial transactions at the firm. Mr. Carr served as a Director of WashingtonFirst Bankshares, Inc. and its subsidiary WashingtonFirst Bank from December 2012 to May 17, 2013. He served as an Independent Director of Alliance Bankshares Corporation since July 2007. Mr. Carr served as a Director of Alliance Bank Corporation since August 15, 2007 and Alliance Bankshares Corporation since July 2007. He received Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1992 and his Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies, with a concentration in Economics, from Trinity College in 1987.

Andrew Mcintyre is charged with overseeing and leading the asset management function of CPI’s growing residential and mixed-use portfolio while continuing his responsibilities of furthering the company’s development and S.A.M. Strategies. Through Mr. Mcintyre’s leadership and years of experience, CPI has successfully realized its long-term vision of redeveloping existing shopping centers into vibrant mixed-use residential projects. Prior to joining Combined Properties, Mr. McIntyre was the Senior Vice President of Development and Construction for Penzance. Before Penzance he was Vice President of Development at The JBG Companies, Project Manager for PN Hoffman and a Project Engineer for Clark Construction. Mr. McIntyre received his BS in Building Construction from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his MBA from Johns Hopkins University. He has served on the boards of the DC chapter of Habitat for Humanity and Canal Park in SE Washington, DC. He is an active member of ULI , the Northern Virginia chapter of NAIOP and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Jon is a shareholder practicing in the areas of land use and zoning, real estate, estate planning and wealth management. He represents regional and national developers, property owners, and business owners in all aspects of the land use and zoning process for their commercial, office, residential and mixed-use projects. Jon also works with non-profit organizations on affordable housing projects. In addition, he regularly represents clients on matters involving property transactions, land use, and zoning laws and issues. As a lifelong resident of Arlington County, Jon has a deep understanding of the county, its history, and its aspirations. This knowledge and experience gives him a unique perspective and understanding of the political and governmental issues that affect his clients interests in all aspects of real estate development. He maintains working relationships with regional and local government officials and county staff to ensure he can best advocate for his clients’ needs. Jon is a LEED Accredited Professional with knowledge of the law as it relates to the design, construction, and operation of green buildings.

Ross Draber is the chief operating officer of United Bank, a subsidiary of United Bankshares, Inc., a $19.3 billion bank holding company. He is responsible for the performance and profitability of the Bank, directing commercial and consumer banking sales and service operations throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area. Draber oversees the region’s market presidents and works alongside them to drive growth and develop business strategy and execution plans. Draber has played an integral role in United Bank’s expansion since assuming the role in 2015. During that time, United Bank has grown to over 70 branches in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. It has the number one deposit market share among community banks in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Statistical Area. Draber is highly involved with the merger and acquisition team and was instrumental in the Bank’s successful acquisitions of Cardinal Financial Corporation and its subsidiaries George Mason Mortgage, LLC and Cardinal Wealth Services, Inc. (2017); Bank of Georgetown (2016); and Virginia Commerce Bank (2014). Draber previously served as a senior vice president of treasury and corporate finance. In this role, he managed the capital adequacy and regulatory risk of United Bankshares, Inc., serving on the Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) and stress test development team. He oversaw the mergers and acquisitions analysis and supervised commercial loan pricing and term sheet structuring within United Bank. Prior to that, Draber held several positions in treasury and credit administration. Draber is a CFA® charterholder and a 2017 Washington Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree. He graduated from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration.
