EverFi and NEA Foundation Team Up
The National Education Association Foundation is working with EverFi, a DC-based ed tech company, to provide thousands of schools access to the company’s critical skills learning platform at no cost. The courses will include financial literacy, health and wellness, STEM, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, diversity, and EverFi’s new Summer Learning platform. (Between this and the first story, with all this summer learning, it might be tough year for slip-n-slide sales.) The three-year program launches this spring with the digital learning platform being brought to districts supported by the NEA Foundation. EverFi COO Tammy Wincup says the program will focus on 25 key school districts in the first year.
