JA's Raises Funds for Education

Junior Achievement of Greater Washington raised over $1M last week to continue its education programs. The money was raised through Junior Achievement’s annual gala (held at the National Building Museum) to induct business leaders into the Washington Business Hall of Fame. (Read about the winners in Tech Bisnow.) Junior Achievement of Greater Washington president/CEO Ed Grenier, here with students from Mosby Woods Elementary, Friendship Blow-Pierce PCS and A. Mario Loiederman Middle School, says the programs teach about entrepreneurship, financial literacy and careers.
