NHL Association Teams Up with EdTech Company
The NHL Players’ Association and the National Hockey League launched its Future Goals program last week to bring interactive education to elementary schools in 30 NHL team markets in the US and Canada. The program, the first of its kind for the NY-based association, will help kids learn to leverage technology in a safe and responsible way through a platform developed by EverFi, a DC ed tech company that’s offered programs to over seven million students. The curriculum uses hockey to help students understand science, technology, engineering, and math applications. It also introduces them to STEM career opportunities.
