NRF Tries To Change Retail's Image
National Retail Federation president/CEO Matthew Shay is trying to solve his industry's perception problem with a new campaign that will use research and personal stories to broaden the way the public thinks. This is Retail: Careers, Community, Innovation will "counter the myths" and attempt to show young adults the value of a retail career, tell inspiring retail stories through a new website, and hold several events like a retail road show to spread the message. And the toughest days of the campaign will be handled with a little retail therapy.
