K-12 Students in PG County Now Have a Finance Park
Junior Achievement of Greater Washington, Prince George’s County Public Schools and Capital One opened another Finance Park in the DC region to teach grade school students about the ins and out of finance. The 13,500 SF experiential financial literacy supercenter is the second in the region and the first in Maryland. (The other Finance Park is in Fairfax County.) Sitting on the campus of G. James Gholson Middle School and Cora L. Rice Elementary School in Landover, it will take 9,000 students each year through a series of real-life scenarios on budgeting, checkbook balancing and paying bills.
