PR Lessons from Pope Francis
Speaking of Pope Francis, nonprofits have a lot to learn from him when it comes to holding a position on controversial issues. (You don’t become the most popular person on Earth just hitting “like” on everyone’s Facebook posts.) One of his philosophies is to be accepting and stay out of fights that point out who’s right and wrong. He’s also proven that big money isn’t needed for big results. Money serves, but it doesn’t rule. He also believes in appealing to Millennials. He hasn’t changed his beliefs, but he’s found a way to communicate them to a younger generation. [NH]
