Universities To Study Associations & Nonprofits
ASAE Foundation president Susan Robertson (above) announced this week that four universities will receive grants from the foundation’s new Scholarly Research in Association Management Grants program. Florida State, the University of Florida, the University of Georgia and Wichita State will use the one-year, $7,500 grants to research a variety of issues in nonprofit membership and member-based associations. (What leaves a bigger mess: college labs dissecting frogs or associations?) The findings will be presented at ASAE’s annual meeting and expo.
