GREEN, GREEN, GREEN!
Must be spring–green is everywhere, even at accounting firm symposia!
Bright and early yesterday morning, all these fine people above gathered at the Bethesda office of Reznick [a Bisnow on Business sponsor] for their first "Green Development Roundtable." So what if it was actually a rectangular table?
They got to hear about sustainable design from SmithGroup's Russell Perry, photovoltaics and solar thermal from Mondial Energy's Patty Hargreaves, green financing from Evolution Partners' Dan Winters, and lots on tax credits from Reznick's own David Kessler and Don Nimey.
From left, Hines Managing Director Matt Hurson, strategic plannerCellerino Carlos Bernardino, and Wharton School DC alumni club president (and lawyer) Alan Schlaifer. Alan says the Wharton club is planning a green business summit this fall. In answer to our probing question about how he lives his personal life green, he pointed to Kiwi fruit on his breakfast plate.
Also attending was Fannie Mae's Angelique Brunner, left, who speadheads the housing giant’s green initiatives (including new investment guidelines), here with Reznick's Stacie Benes and McFarlanePartners' Brad Dockser.
