Helping Kids Learn to Read

Loyal Bisnow readers Gary Goodweather (GME Investments) and Mitchell Schear (Vornado/Charles E. Smith) have both brought to our attention a reading app they highly recommend for young kids, called Rhyme to Read. It's produced by Lynn Klaiman, a learning specialist at GDS, and Sara Hines, lower school head at the McLean School. Instead of designing an education tool that's a game, as many are, it's a set of 20 digital reading books, as illustrated above. Here's further information: www.rhymetoread.com.
