JBG and Lowe Launch Fort Totten Square
JBG and Lowe Enterprises broke out the shovels yesterday for their mixed-use Fort Totten Square. The project is yet another transit-oriented development for the region (lying just north of the Fort Totten Metro), and will include 345 apartments units as well as 130k SF of retail, anchored by an urban Walmart. Diggin' in above were Lowe's Joe Carrol, Walmart's Henry Jordan, DC planning director Harriet Tregoning, deputy mayor Victor Hoskins, Metro chief Richard Sarles, DC council members Kenyan McDuffie and Muriel Bowser, and JBG's James Iker and Tony Greenberg.
