Summit at Washingtonian Inks Three New Tenants
Transwestern has closed on three leases totaling 42k SF at the Summit at Washingtonian building in Gaithersburg since December, including a brand-new 17k SF location for executive suite firm BusinessSuites (Steben & Company and Medical Funding Services were the other tenants). Transwestern's Scott Randolph, who brokered the deals with colleagues Phillip McCarthy and Guy Copperthite, says tenants will continue the flightto quality assets that have amenities and strong ownership. The property is owned by American Real Estate Partners, the Davis Companies, and Principal Real Estate Investors. Guy says the property's location (9711 Washingtonian Blvd) at the gateway of the ICC was a big selling point.
