This Morning in NoVa
Thanks to the 375 of you who gave up the beach this morning for our Northern Virginia State of the Market in Falls Church. Three things we learned: Fairfax County has become a magnet for foreign-owned businesses, and women-owned and minority-owned firms. It’s also attracting cyber-security and personalized medicine companies. Arlington County won’t see federal growth but it did get the first ever residential concept for entrepreneurs in Crystal City approved. And Loudoun County’s data centers are attracting tech companies, so econ dev officials are working on getting 1M SF of new office and flex development. We’ll tell you more in tomorrow’s issue.
