Young Real Estate Pros Launch Pub Games
Get ready, young real estate pros: The Pub Games are coming. The first annual event, to be held March 13 at Penn Social at the corner of 8th and E streets, will pit teams of DC CRE's finest against each other in cornhole, skee-ball, shuffleboard, and more, with prizes going to the team and individuals with the highest scores. All proceeds benefit the SED Center, an education facility to aid underprivileged Hispanic families. We snapped the planning committee yesterday with Penn Social co-owners Peter Bayne (second row, second from left) and Sara Norman (first row, third from left), who were gracious enough to let the group check the space out.
So you'd better start your training regimen in advance of March 13, as Monument Realty's Tasha Stancil did yesterday. Also on hand to help promote the event: SED Center's Cielo Contreras, Boston Properties' Sarah Fieldhouse and Katie Yuergens, HITT Contracting's Derek Gallardo, Wingate Hughes' Gavin Daniels, Liberty Property Group's Ben O'Neill, Skanska's Chris Cardinale, and Tishman Speyer's Todd Rich, the event's co-chair.
